Press Writing for DW Architects


This volatile new structure is referred to in architecture as ‘para-building,’ which means that it folds underneath the existing 1901 tenement building to create a 13-ft high commercial space on the ground floor.  and wraps over the existing roof to create the 2-story glass and steel penthouse .  The remaining 3-story brick tenement appears to be held in captivity in the glittering jaws of modernity, a virtual Pac Man caught in mid-game swallow....
