Marco Breuer: thin fissures
...into the conventions and traditions of fine art photography... the work of Marco Breuer is part of my research compilation about process and concept photography. This work does not fit neatly into any art historical categories, although it relates to aspects of painting, it does not produce a drawing or canvas, but a type of document. Therefore I consider Breuer’s work as material interventions that should be read as inscribed surfaces rather than described as a picture.
